The National Revolution Party has expelled it’s Southern Province Chairperson for gross misconduct.
NRP Secretary General Clive Chikulamyunga said that Cephas Mtonga has been expelled from the party and police have since been called to investigate the illegal activities that he has been engaged in.
“We as a party, we want to confirm that Cephas Mtonga has been expelled from the Party for gross misconduct and for his legal activities,” he said.
Mr Chikulamyunga said that Mr Mtonga has been advised to surrender all NRP properties including a motor vehicle the party recently gave him for mobilization in the Province.
He has urged the general public not to deal with Mr Mtonga on any party matters as he has ceased being a member.
