Veteran Politician Sikota Wina says the death of first President KENNETH KAUNDA is a big loss to the nation and the African continent.
Mr Wina says he received the death of Dr Kaunda with sadness, saying it is hard to believe that the great leader is no more.
“The death of Dr Kaunda is not only a loss for Zambians but other African countries as well, this is because of the critical role he played in the liberation struggle for many countries in Africa,” he said.
Mr Wina said first republican president was a pan-Africanist who wanted to see the continent liberated from the harsh colonial rule.
Mr Wina said young people as well as politicians should emulate Dr Kaunda’s passion of uniting Zambia sunder the motto of one Zambia, one Nation.
