60 loiters apprehended in Chingola

By JOHN SAKALA
Sixty (60) people have been apprehended in Chingola for loitering.

This follows two separate incidents of hacking in which sets of three were hacked and two later died from fatal axing.

Copperbelt Police Chief Elias Chushi said policing becomes difficult when there are a lot of loiters on the street.

Mr Chushi said police have mounted strong patrol teams to quickly arrest the hacking situation in Chingola.

He said the community of Chingola should stay off the streets and clubs after midnight.

“We want everyone to be sleeping at home after midnight so that our work is easier. In short, we shall pick anyone suspicious at a suspicious location,” he said.
