PF adopted candidates advised to be conversant with the manifesto

Patriotic Front (PF) Manifesto Committee has urged adopted PF members to be conversant with the party manifesto as they campaign ahead of the August 12 general elections.

Speaking during a manifesto seminar held at Kitwe’s Roadview park today, PF Manifesto Committee Vice Chairperson Stephen Kampyongo who spoke on behalf of the Chairman Given Lubinda said there is need to give the party president Edgar Lungu maximum votes through the selling of the manifesto which he said is the best on the market so far.

Mr Kampyongo who is former Minister said candidates are expected to come out fired up with information after the seminar and help sale the party with ease stating that the 2021-2026 manifesto has the solutions to all economic challenges hence the need to orient the in coming candidates on the manifesto.

“After this seminar we expect you candidates to come out fired up to inform our people. Your campaigns should should be anchored on the good manifesto if we are to deliver maximum votes for President Lungu,” he said.

Mr Kampyongo said everyone seeking public service should ensure they respect resources of the state by being selfless leaders.

And  Mr Kampyongo said adopted members should  not to entertain tribalism  as they party is founded on values that do not discriminate against certain individuals.

” As A party we are looking for a Zambia which is peaceful. When people live in harmony and access benefits. Without unity ofcommon purpose the party cannot achieve it’s goals,” he said.

He urged adopted members to embrace old members that were left out on adoption adding that such members are still vital to the party and should not feel irrelevant.

“Those people that were left out in the adoption should not feel  irrelevant. They are still good players and they should be respected because they are still valuable members of the party,” he said.
