Surrender Govt properties- Nkombo

By IREEN MULENGA
United Party for National Development (UPND) Chairperson for Elections Garry Nkombo has ordered for the  former PF Ministers to vacate Government Houses by 18 hours today and surrender all government properties such as motor vehicles.

Mr Nkombo said that President Lungu and his vice President are the only ones who should be enjoying government facilities and vehicles, the rest should pack.

“We are giving directive to the PF Ministers to vacate their houses and go to their private homes so that the Ministry of works and Supply can start renovating them, for the Government to come whether it’s us or them, “he said.

He said Ministers should vacate for themselves from the government houses because their contract with the Zambian people has ended until there re-elected after 12 August polls.

Mr Nkombo said Ministers  should move to their private houses and anyone who will found occupying those houses will have a case to answer.

He said an audit will be conducted to ensure that they leave Government properties without fail.

Mr Nkombo said that Ministers should go back to where they came from until they are given fresh mandate by the Zambian people.
