New Nkana striker Alex Ng’onga has been tipped to excel in Wusakile after quitting Power Dynamos last week.
Ng’onga joined Nkana on Friday and went on to score a goal in his debut when Kalampa lost 2-1 to Indeni at home 24 hours later.
Commenting on Ng’onga’s move, former Power assistant coach Mwenya Chipepo, who is now Indeni head coach, said Nkana have gained by capturing the experienced striker.
“Look at what he did on Saturday and if he gains full fitness how is he going to be playing? He is national team material so to Power Dynamos I can say that they have missed a very important player,” Chipepo said.
“It is a gain for Nkana, it is a plus maybe I can say double gain,” he said.
Ng’onga first joined in 2009 to 2015 and later rejoined them in 2017 after a brief spell at Gabonese club CF Mounana.
He won the FAZ Super Division title with Power in 2011 under coach Fordson Kabole.
