Konkola’s lead in Division 1 reduced

Konkola Blades’ lead at the top of the FAZ National Division One table has been reduced to goal aggregate after they lost 2-1 at Kafue Celtic in Lusaka over the weekend.

This was Konkola’s fourth loss of the season in which they have played 25 matches.

Konkola’s lead has since been cut to goals as second placed Kansanshi Dynamos have 39 points as well after playing 25 matches.

Kansanshi joined Konkola on 39 points after beating Zesco Malaiti Rangers 2-0.

Konkola have scored 39 goals while Kansanshi have registered 29 goals.

Third placed Celtic have 45 points from 25 matches played.

Chambishi stayed fourth on the table after edging struggling Mpulungu Harbour 1-0 away in Mpulungu.

Nchanga Rangers were not so brave when forcing a 1-1 draw at Zesco Shockers in Mongu on Sunday to remain on number seven with 37 points as at Week 25.
