Zambia international striker Patson Daka says he managed to score five goals in the ended 2021 Africa Cup qualifying campaign because of team work.
The striker from Austrian side RB Salzburg last night scored two goals when Zambia beat Zimbabwe 2-0 in the final Group H match in Harare.
‘It was a team effort; if my friends were not there to support me I couldn’t have made it, ‘Daka told Zambian journalists in Zimbabwe on Monday night.
Daka only featured in four of the six AFCON qualifiers due to injury.
‘I give the credit to the team because we played as a team and we helped each other and at the end of the day I was just found at the right place at the right time to be the person to help the team,’ Daka said.
