Economic stability anchored of respect for the rule of law- NCP president

New Congress Party President Peter Chanda says the stability of the economy in the country is anchored on the respect for the rule of law.

Mr Chanda said politics should be about creating a better change that comes as a result of issue based politics and not politics of insults.

He also said that there is a way to engage into politics without insulting the head of state or other political leaders.

Mr Chanda challenged other political parties to re-define the heart of politics by creating better change with unity of purpose.

He explained that politics is a scarlet entity through which man saves humanity and it is there to save the physical needs of the people.

He has assured that his party has no enmity with the government or any political party and is willing to engage politically and table productive matters benefiting the nation.

Mr Chanda stressed that the goal of the party  is to create jobs for the people by working together with them.

He said that the party wants to see a Zambia where agriculture becomes the main stream of the economy.

Mr Chanda emphasized on how farmers are not motivated hence he will come up with a policy that will motivate farmers and ensure that they benefit from farming.

He said the issue of the people been arrested because of smuggling must come to an end instead farmers must be given  stimulus package to supply maize in bulk to FRA and  give them permits to sale across the borders.

Mr Chanda said that the reason farmers are restricted is because  government don’t have enough maize, so when famers export it threatens food security.

He said that the economy can be fixed once the government and the people join hands and work together.

Mr Chanda said his party will focus on the things that can make this nation productive.

He stated his desire to improve road network which will also aid to turn agriculture as the main stream of the economy.
