Rhoda Mulenga has joined the race for Chiwempala Ward, making her the only female in the race of five.
Ms Mulenga, a mechanical fitter says, the 2021 polls should try to level the gender equilibrium for women in leadership position.
Having worked with the grassroots, Ms Mulenga said time has come to provide embracing hen like leadership.
Others in the race are the incumbent Chiwempala Ward Councillor Simon Chipoka, Chitimukulu PF Ward Councillor Jeff Mwambatani.
Kelvin Mwansa and Richard Lupupa complete the list.
