National Democratic Congress (NDC) Nchanga aspiring candidate Arthur Teleshi says youths should use their energy as a catalyst to succeed politically.
Speaking ahead of International Youth Day which falls on March 12 each year, Mr Teleshi said for youths, youthful age is the right time to engage in political activities when energy is on their side.
“Energy is the major tool we need to make the change we need to see in our lives and in our society. The future is now and not tomorrow! Let us use our time and our energy wisely and productively.
“And as we do so, we shouldn’t forget to look out for the elderly who may not have the time on their side and the vulnerable who may not have the energy on their side. This in turn will positively impact and inspire the younger generation to be better and very productive youths of our time to come. Happy youth day! We shouldn’t just dream of a better future, we must create it,” he said.
