The Patriotic Front -PF- Central Committee has resolved to adopt candidates who are popular in area they intend to stand.
Speaking at a media briefing in Lusaka PF Secretary General Davis Mwila said the party will not impose any candidate on the people.
Mr Mwila also said the Central Committee resolved to ensure that discipline and exemplary behavior among party members and Government officials is upheld.
And speaking earlier Mr Mwila said the party will not lift suspensions of members who committed criminal offences.
He said the party believes in discipline and will let the law take its course.
Mr Mwila however said the party will consider lifting the suspension of members with minor disciplinary cases and who have shown remorse.
