Defiant Chingola based football administrator and business executive Blackwell Siwale has declared that he will soon bounce back into football business after being banned by FAZ recently.
Siwale, who was expelled from the FAZ Executive as committee member in March 2017, suffered a double tragedy earlier in April when the local soccer mother body handed him an indefinite ban from all football related activities.
The former Nchanga Rangers president was still battling with the case of being expelled from the FAZ Executive Committee before learning about his ban.
According to FAZ, the Ethics Committee chaired by Ndola lawyer Kephas Katongo found Siwale guilty of circulating illegally obtained FAZ documents
In an interview, Siwale told TIO Sport that he doesn’t doubt that one day he will make a triumphant return into football administration.
“Do not say maybe I will bounce back into football administration. Football is dynamic therefore I am confident,” he said.
Siwale repeated that he and Kazala will continue challenging their expulsion from the FAZ Executive Committee until the duo is given an opportunity to be heard by the FAZ council.
The two were suspended for gross misconduct which included allegations of pocketing money paid by State House and gate takings meant for FAZ before being expelled in March 2017.
“The issue of expulsion is still open as far as we are concerned because FAZ councillors are the owners of football. Councillors must demand justice because the initial annual general meeting that expelled us did not follow procedure,” Siwale said.
He also called for harmony to prevail in the association
“Football is a uniting factor, it is a uniting game. After elections I expected all the factions to unite and work together for the development of football,” he said.
Siwale has been a critic of the Andrew Kamanga led FAZ Executive Committee that replaced the Kalusha Bwalya regime in 2016.
