Nkana have made a giant step toward qualifying for the CAF Confederation Cup group stage after beating Moroccan side TAS de Casablanca 2-0 in the first leg match played in Kitwe on Sunday.
A goal each from Fred Tshimenga and Obed Masumbuko propelled Nkana to victory at Nkana Stadium.
Kalampa took a 17th minute lead with Tshimenga finding the back of the net.
Nkana and TAS went into the break with a 1-0 scoreline as rains doubled the flow of the game.
Masumbuko put the icing on the cake when striking in the 86th minute to stun the visiting Moroccans.
The two teams will meet in the return match in Morocco in nine days time with the winner on aggregate qualifying to the lucrative group stage.
