‘Mr Integrity’ passes integrity test

By CHINOYI CHIPULU
FAZ president Andrew Kamanga has been declared eligible to contest the forthcoming FIFA Council elections after passing integrity tests.

Kamanga filed to contest the FIFA Council elections had to wait, like other candidates, for the review committee of FIFA to ascertain eligibility to stand after the tests.

It means Zambia’s “Mr Integrity” is now in the race to become a FIFA Council member or as was previously called, FIFA Excecutive Committee.

The FIFA Audits and Compliance member who is also a COSAFA executive committee member is currently in Cameroun as a member of the CHAN organising committe of CAF and shall be waiting for confirmation of other candidates cleared to stand to see who the successful businessman and career chartered accountant will be up against for the Anglophone position on the FIFA Council from Africa.
