New Nkana coach Kelvin Kaindu has promised to help his side advance further in the CAF Champions League.
Kalampa on Tuesday gave Kaindu, the former Power Dynamos and Buildcon coach, a contract up to the end of the 2020/21 season.
He has taken over the Nkana hot seat from Manfred Chabinga who was sent on forced leave on December 6.
“It is such an honour and privilege to be given a chance to coach and work with the greatest team in Zambia,” Kaindu said in Kitwe.
Nkana are in the pre-group stage of the Champions League where they will face Petro Athletico of Angola next week.
“My plans are to take Nkana further in CAF Champions League and of course, I am looking forward to a fruitful season,” he added.
Kaindu has in the past coached Zimbabwean teams Highlanders, Triangle and How Mine
