The Electoral Commission of Zambia has extended the voter registration exercise for four days in order to capture more voters.
ECZ Chief Electoral Officer Patrick Nshindano made this announcement today December 15, 2020 at a media briefing in Lusaka.
Mr Nsindano said the extension of four days will start on Thursday December 17, 2020 to Sunday midnight.
He said ECZ has so far captured 6,407,752 voters.
He alerted Zambians that the Presidential nominations will run from June 14 to 18, 2021 while the parliamentary nominations will be on June 14.
Local Government candidates will file on June 15, 2021.
