A 17-year-old boy of Chipako village in Mungwi District of Northern Province has died after falling into a well as he attempted to remove a container used for drawing water.
Grandfather of the boy, Osward Bwalya, has confirmed, saying Francis Chileshe who is a grade Eight pupil at Matipauke Primary School, met his fate yesterday.
Mr. Bwalya says Francis attempted to remove a container from the well but in the process slipped and fell inside.
Mr. Bwalya says the body of the deceased was retrieved by fire fighters on the same day, and he has been put to rest. ZANIS
