A 25-year-old man of Lusaka has died after he drowned in an unfinished septic tank which he was constructing.
Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo said Masauso Mwelwa of Kalikiliki Township died a sudden death in 3.5 meters deep septic tank which he was constructing.
Ms Katongo said the incident occurred yesterday between 12:50 hours and 14:00 hours in Mtendere when he failed to come out of the septic tank which later got filled with water after a heavy down pour .
She said the body has been retrieved and is in UTH mortuary, no physical injuries were seen.
