Nchanga MP targeted for youths empowerment

Youths from Ndola specialised in making bamboo beads and ornaments are seeking for training empowerment from Nchanga Member of Parliament Chani Chilombo.

The tree youths who are teachers from Ndola met Mr Chilombo today at Protea hotel in Chingola to sell out their proposal.

They make bracelets, key holders, pens and several other items including home ornaments from bamboo.

They told the MP that they are seeking his audience to train youths and women in Nchanga Constituency in making bamboo beads and ornaments.

They also make mug cups, salt despensor and big vessels all from bamboo.

The trio namely: Kasuba Mbuya, Mary Bashala and Angel Nkole said they chose Nchanga MP because he is accessible and easier to talk to.

And Mr Chilombo advised the youths to give him the logistical requirement to train the youths and the women then he can buy in.

Mr Chilombo is rated as the most visible parliamentarian in his constituency in Zambia and rated as the most hard-working MP in Zambia by The Independent Observer community platforms.
