Lusaka’s great biking police officer Simon Fulilwa has died in a road traffic accident.
The accident happened when Inspector Fulilwa 36, of Libala collided with an oncoming car and died on the spot.
Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo has confirmed the fatal accident to The Independent Observer.
Ms Katongo said the accident happened yesterday around 13:10 hrs at Mobe area along Chirundu road in Chikankata.
She said Mr Fulilwa died when he rammed his private Honda Bike into Toyota Gluger driven by George Mulenga 66, of Zanaco Flats in Lusaka.
Mr Mulenga had two passengers on board who sustained minor injuries.
The body of Mr Fulilwa is the University Teaching Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
