Chililabombwe Town Clerk Cosmas Chalusa says Avic Construction has been contracted to do Chingola-Chililabobwe road and some township roads.
Chingola-Chililabombwe road has been in bad state where motorists have negotiable of either lane of the road.
Speaking with The Independent Observer yesterday, Mr Chalusa said that the contractor will be on site in three weeks to start the works.
He said that the roads have been a source of concern.
Mr Chalusa said that township roads will also be done as government want even grassroots to benefit from good road network.
And Chililabombwe District Commissioner Roy Ngosa said the people of Chililabombwe appreciate government’s effort in ensuring good road network.
Mr Ngosa said the district leadership has been lobbying to ensure that people’s cry is worked on.
