Lusaka Dynamos have appointed Wedson Nyirenda as  head coach.

Nyirenda will be assisted by Ian Bakala, Josphat Nkhoma and Stephen Mwansa.

Lusaka Dynamos chief executive officer Francis Bwalya has confirmed the development in Lusaka today.

Bwalya said Stephen Mwansa will also double as goalkeeping coach, while Manchi Janza is the physical trainer.

The former Chipolopolo coach has signed a short contract for the remainder of the 2019/2020 season.

He said Nyirenda is coming in with vast experience and the club wants to see how far he will push the boys for the remaining season.

He said Nyirenda is welcome at the club and management will give him all the support to make his stay comfortable.

And Nyirenda said he is happy to be associated with the elite club.
