The District has continued to receive donations towards the fight against Covid-19 (corona).
This morning Chingola District Commissioner Agnes Tonga and Mayor Titus Tembo received donations from JCB, Mimbula Minerals and China Copper Mines.
The donated items were hand sanitizer, hand wash, buckets, dishes, face masks, thermometers and 500 litres of Fuel for the health team to be moving around in the sensitization activities.
The DC thanked all the companies for the commitment they continue putting up toward the fight.
She said no donation is small toward this fight.
And Chingola Mayor Titus Tembo said that this fight cannot be won by Government alone but needs consented efforts from all stakeholders
Mr Tembo has commended all the companies that has donated and continue to donate toward the fight of Covid- 19.
