Chililabombwe Municipal Council has embarked on the grading of feeder roads in the district.
Chililabombwe Mayor Christabel Mulala who officiated the program which was flagged off in Kamenza east said the program has the full support from the Member of Parliament Richard Musukwa.
Ms Mulala said the MP has equipped the Council with fuel for the graders to ensure that the program is successful.
She said that the Council has rolled out a program that each ward will benefit from the program.
Ms Mulala said that the program will be extended to peri-urban areas in Chifushi and the surrounding areas.
The Mayor was accompanied by Chililabombwe district PF political manager Emmanuel Kunda and several ward Chairpersons from different wards.
She expressed gratitude toward the MP’s support for the local government works.
Ms Mulala said that each ward in the district will have at least a week of using the grader.
Mr Kunda has commended the MP and the Mayor for the initiative hence the programme has been received well by the electorate.
