The Patriotic Front in North western province says it is targeting to grab all the eleven parliamentary seats in the region in the 2021 general elections.
PF N/Western Provincial Chairperson Jackson Kungo said that this is because the party has seriously extended its tentacles in every corner of the region.
Mr Kungo said the party is currently enjoying the support from various stakeholders in the province owing to the evenly distribution of developmental projects by the PF government under the able leadership of President Edgar Lungu.
He said previously, it was very difficult for the party officials to move around with party regalia as they were being laughed at.
“But, the situation has totally changed. And that is why we are confident that come 2021, we are going to grab all the eleven seats in the province,” he said.
Mr Kungo said that contrary to claims by the UPND that the province is still their stronghold, the tide has changed.
He said this is because people are disappointed with the Members of Parliament who have failed to represent them well by lobbying for development in their various constituencies.
“They are busy politicking instead of lobbying for development, so people feel disappointed with them. And has given an opportunity to grab those seats” he said.
