The University Teaching Hospitals has disclosed that it has twenty five unclaimed and unknown dead bodies.
UTH Public Relations Officer Natalie Mashikolo said that the bodies have been lying in the mortuary since November 2019.
Ms Mashikolo said twenty were brought in dead (BID) by various police Stations and Posts within Lusaka Province while Five died in various wards in UTH.
She said the hospital is appealing to members of the public who are missing a relative to come to UTH mortuary and identify their relatives before they are buried.
Of the 25 bodies 23 bodies are men and two bodies are women.
