Zambia Union of Broadcasters and other Information Disseminators (ZUBID) is shocked with media reports that ZNBC workers have staged a go slow for delayed payment of November salary.
Speaking with The Independent Observer in an interview, ZUBID Lusaka Branch Secretary Katwishi Bwalya said he was shocked when he read about the rumoured go slow on some media platforms.
Mr Katwishi said the operations at ZNBC were running smoothly.
He said the image being circulated of the purported employees on a go slow was taken when ZNBC employees were meeting their new Director General Malolela Lusambo.
“We have no intentions of going on a go slow and even if we have, we know the procedure for us to go on a go slow,” he said.
