Zambia Women’s U-17 national team will face Namibia in the preliminary round of the 2020 World Cup qualifiers.
This follows the draws released by the Confederation of African football to FAZ for the 2020 FIFA under-20 Women World Cup qualifiers
Zambia will be away to Namibia on the window of January 10-12 before hosting them in the return leg between January 24 and 26.
The winner between Zambia and Namibia will face South Africa in the first round with first leg matches set for February 28 to March 1 while return matches will be on the window of March 13 to 15.
The tournament will have two more rounds from the second leg with the final qualifying rounds to be staged in May. Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana and South Africa have been placed on bye in the preliminary round.
