Dear Editor,
I write to appeal to the government through the ministry of health to withdraw from hospital/ health centre shelves Isoniazid with immediate effect.
This is a drug being administered alongside every HIV+ person on ARVs as a preventive drug against tuberculosis.
The drug has proved to have unhealthy side effect to the patients and hospitals that have done much research on the drug, like Chreso Hospital in Lusaka who have since withdrawn the drug from their shelves for the love of its patients.
With the aforesaid, I urge our learned physicians to investigate thoroughly these donor given drugs for the safety of the Zambians.
