The long awaited imported power from South Africa is finally here.
Energy Minister Matthew Nkhuwa has just announced the development in Chingola Constituency WhatsApp group that the imported power will start tomorrow November 22, 2019.
The Zambian government has paid Eskom of South Africa for the importation of 300mega watts to mitigate the adverse effects of load shedding which has negatively affected Zambian economy.
Some parts of Zambia are load shedded up to 20 hours.
