A-Z global cell phones founder commits suicide

The founder of A-Z global cell phones has committed suicide by hanging himself with an electrical iron cable in his bedroom.

Copperbelt Police Commissioner Charity Katanga told The Independent Observer that Nason Mwanza committed suicide by hanging himself with an electrical iron cable from the cap rose in the roof of the bed room.

Ms Katanga said Mr Mwanza a business man of 8268 Kabundi North extension off Malile committed suicide.

She said the reasons for taking his life are not known.

Mr Mwanza who used to sponsor Chipolopolo games on ZNBC TV is reported to have been undergoing stress marriage life and he was on separation with one of his wives.

The incident occurred on October 15, 2019 around 16:30 hours.

Ms Katanga said police rushed to the scene and found the body hanging in the bedroom.

She said no foul play is suspected as the body was found with no visible injuries .

Ms Katanga said the body was taken to Nchanga North General hospital where it was certified dead by the doctor and deposited in the mortuary.
