Over 250 business executives are expected to attend this year’s Invest in Zambia Business Forum that will be held on 17th October at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The Forum will also discuss the need to increase mutual Trade and Investment between Zambia and South Africa, Market Access and the promotion of local content.

Chairperson of the Zambia -South Africa Business Forum Chiboni Evans said this year’s event has attracted high ranking Public and Private sectors from both Zambia and South Africa, owing to the growing bilateral relations between the two countries.

Ms Evans said the Forum has made tremendous strides that have led to the increased interest in various sectors of Zambia’s economy.

She said the Forum   will continue working closely with Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) and the Trade Invest Africa, a unit under the Department of Trade and Industry of South Africa to reach key leaders from both public and private sectors in the two countries.

She mentioned that Zambia remains a very attractive trade and investment destination owing to its stable political and economic environment currently prevailing in the country.

This will be the 4th consecutive Invest in Zambia Business Forum that the High Commission, in collaboration with the Zambia-South Africa Business Forum and the Zambia Development Agency, has hosted.

This is according to a media statement made available by First Secretary for Press and Public Relations at the Zambian Embassy in South Africa Naomi Nyawali.
