Hungry Jumbo jumbles man in Livingstone

A hungry elephant has killed Livingstone trader who was carrying a bag of cabbages.

On-site of the vegetables, the elephant attacked the owner and got away with the cabbages.

Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo has confirmed the fatality involving an unidentified man.

Ms Katongo said the incidence happened in the early hours of today, September 30, 2019, between dry Manzi and Mukuni turnoff.

She said the elephant got away with some cabbages while other bags were left at the scene.

“The body which was found with several injuries and protruding intestines was discovered by members of the public. The Body is in Batoka hospital mortuary,” she said.
