Airtel Zambia says it will wait to hear more on the motion from parliament on the matter concerning the prohibition of expiry dates on internet bundles.
Airtel Head of Corporate Communications and Government Relations Yuyo Kambikambi stated that Airtel places utmost importance in observing the laws of the land and ultimately providing superior services to all its customers hence remaining committed to providing the best possible service that is safe and secure through their network.
Meanwhile Zamtel and MTN say they will issue comprehensive statements on the matter.
Parliament on Wednesday unanimously agreed on a motion to urge government to prohibit Internet Service Providers from prescribing expiry dates on internet bundles purchased by customers.
