The bushy and potholed ‘Welcome to Chingola’ roundabout is receiving an amazing concreted floor to enhance its intake of trucks inflow.
Recently media likened the roundabout to a national park due to its bushy outlook and the potholes around it.
Chingola Mayor Titus Tembo has already hinted that soon after the road works at the roundabout, his Council will move in to beautify the inner roundabout.
Mr Tembo says to achieve the Green Chingola, the Council will go in partnership with likeminded residents to take over the maintenance of some parks and roundabouts.
The firm that takes over the roundabout will control the advertising around the facility.
