Chingola jerabo leader Isaac Chiwasha popularly known as Debra Richie has been burnt by rival Jerabo gang.
Debra Richie is nursing serious fire burns after his house was set ablaze by rival Jerabo gang.
His house at 23 Chimwemwe Road in Chiwempala’s Sub-superior was set ablaze around 04:00 hrs on Saturday May 26.
Copperbelt Police Chief Charity Katanga has confirmed the arson where Debra was burnt.
Ms Katanga told The Independent Observer that Chiwasha 39 (Debra) was severely burnt after unknown people had set his house on fire.
She said flammable substance was thrown in Debra’s house through his bedroom window.
“He sustained burns on the whole body, bedding, and clothes were partially burnt. “The victim has been rushed to Nchanga South Mine Hospital where is nursing fire burns,” she said.
Ms Katanga said four people were arrested in connection with the same arson.
Last week Jerabo rival groups clashed and knifed each other. Others are in court for that incidence.
Ms Katanga has warned Jerabos in Chingola that her office would not allow Lawlessness.
