Wilson Banda was warm and loving person-LAZ Boss

The Law Association of Zambia LAZ has described the late Wilson Banda as a unique venerated senior member of the association and a true believer in having grace and the power if God.

The association said Mr Banda was committed to serving God and humanity hence leaving an enduring legacy in the law fraternity.

Speaking during the valedictory session held at the Kitwe High court today, LAZ President Eddie Mwitwa said Mr Banda who at the time of his demise was honorary secretary of the Legal Practitioners Committee LPC Midlands faithfully supported the work of the association.

Mr Mwitwa said the late Banda will be remembered for his intergrity and courtesy at the bar and who consistently renewed his license.

“My lord alot can be said about Mr Wilson Banda. Many of my colleagues will remember him as a warm, loving, witty and consistently jovial person who was also unservingly upbeat and intentionally saw the bright side of life and situation,” he added.

Kitwe High Court Judge in Charge Timothy Katenkwa said the passing of Mr Banda will leave a huge gap in the legal fraternity and the country at large.

Judge Katenkwa said the legal profession received the news with deep shock as he was a man who showed alit of deference to both his seniors and juniors at the bar.

He said that Mr Banda who was well groomed will greatly be missed in the legal fraternity.

And Mr Banda’s wife Sylvia Chongo described her late husband as a true friend, loving support, cheerful father and pillar of the family.
