Dear Editor,
Government move to reduce school fees in public schools is malicious scheme so that they appear caring while on the other hand increase tarrifs for water and electtrity by more than 100 percent in some cases.
Taxes on formal employees keep increasing while the informal sector keeps growing but not paying tax because this sector is the power engine of politics in Zambia.
Local authorities protect the informal sector from paying tax.
This is the reason markets and bus stations are a no go area for opposition parties.
