FIFA Regional Office Development Manager David Fain and Project Coordinator Sanda Rasaomahenina are in the country to confer with the FAZ secretariat over football development matters.
The South Africa based FIFA officials have held meetings with the FAZ management led by General Secretary Adrian Kashala, his deputy Joseph Chimpampwe, Head of Marketing Jessie Simukoko, Technical Director Lyson Zulu and acting Head of Finance Owen Buntele.
FAZ will receive $1 million as part of its annual funding from FIFA for 2019.
The continued funding is as a result of Zambia’s deliberate football development programmes and transparent and effective administration of international and grassroots football.
