Kamanga courts UEFA countries for partnership with FAZ

By Collins Mukwala
FAZ president Andrew Kamanga is set for Europe to lure European countries for partnership with Football House.

And FAZ is expected to send five coaches to Morroco as the partnership signed with the North Africans starts to bear fruit.

Sources in Morrocco indicate that the first tangible result of the partnership between the two countries was Jan Sikazwe officiating the Morroco versus Argentina match which Herve Renard’s side lost 1-0 on 26th March, 2019.

“The Royal Morocco Football Federation requested Zambia FA for referee due partnership between two countries,” a source from Casablanca told me.

Sikazwe dished out 6 yellow cards in the match in Tangier.

“Your FA is expected to send 5 coaches to here for training,” the source added.

Now Kamanga is set to secure more partnerships with other countries and is now targeting UEFA countries.

The FAZ boss recently disclosed at the MTN Talk Show hosted by Ponga Liwewe that his executive was exploring partnerships with UEFA countries in a quest to accelerate Zambian football development.
