A-26-year-old man of Kabundi East Township in Chingola has been stabbed to death by unknown people.
Copperbelt Police Commissioner Charity Katanga has confirmed the death of Davie Pepala of 17 Chikuku Street in Kabundi East.
Ms Katanga said Mr Pepala was stabbed and left dead along DJ Road of Kapisha Township.
She said the incident happened between April 4, 2019 at 18:00hrs and April 5, 2019, at 06:00hrs along Dj Road in Kapisha Township.
Ms Katanga said Mr Pepala had sustained a deep cut on left side of the chest and two cuts on the right leg where the knife is suspected to have been used. “A knife suspected to have been used was found at the scene. The body was taken to Nchanga North General Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem. We have instituted investigations and a manhunt to bring the criminals to book,” she said.
