President Edgar Chagwa Lungu has issued a stern warning that he will not hesitate to see to it that civil servants working against or hindering government’s efforts are fired.
Speaking at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe Airport in Ndola before his departure to Lusaka after a three day working visit, President Lungu said he will not tolerate or entertain any government employees to be detractors of government’s agenda.
He said he will ensure that those frustrating governments’ efforts are removed from both Local Government and Central Government.
“I have heard people saying no we are harassing people.. but, as a civil servant you are our employee… we will remove you, that is what we will do… They lie to you that ‘filufyanye’ we will bring you back in 2021, they are lying to you, ‘Mukaloba ilya uma nangu ilya bola’’ I can tell you this they are not coming in 2021 because Zambians have seen who they are,” President Lungu said.
“Those who are sabotaging government programmes we will remove you, we do not mind whether you work for the council or in central government we will remove you because twanaka, Thank you Very Much!!”
