Prominent Chingola businessman Kishor Patel dies in South Africa

Prominent Chingola Businessman, Kishor Kumar Nathubai Patel died over the weekend.

Zambia’s High Commissioner to South Africa Emmanuel Mwamba said that he was saddened to learn of the death of Mr. Patel.

Mr Patel the owner of Anthenion Engineering and Wholesalers died at Sandton Medical Clinic.

His family runs a business of wholesale and distribution services and has been for decades one the Copperbelt’s local investor.

Mr Mwamba said the process to repatriate the body were complete and he was coordinating with the family and government departments in both countries to ensure that the remains are taken back to Zambia.

He said the body will be flown to Ndola on Tuesday or Wednesday.

This is according to a media statement made available by First Secretary Press and Public Relations at the Zambian Embassy in South Africa Naomi Nyawali.
