Patriotic Front in Lufwanyama have commended Chieftainess Shimukunami for releasing 250 hectares of land to a Zambian investor for the construction of the first-ever fertilizer manufacturing plant in the area.
PF Lufwanyama Information and Publicity Secretary Henry Chilombo said the local investor in the name of JUVANS Limited will add value to the development of the district.
Mr Chilombo said PF will continue to work with traditional leaders and local investors especially those investing in rural areas.
He expressed gratitude at her Royal Highness decision to release the land following JUVANS Limited’s interest to set up a manufacturing plant expected to create employment for the local people in Lufwanyama.
“We are confident that the gesture shown by Her Royal Highness signifies the willingness by our traditional leaders to work with the PF government,” he said.
