Kambwili appearing today before court

National Democratic Congress (NDC) leader Chishimba Kambwili will today Tuesday, February 26, 2019, appear before Lusaka magistrate court to face two charges.

This is where the Roan Member of Parliament has been charged with Expression or showing hatred ridicule or contempt for persons because of race, tribe or place of origin or colour contrary to section 70 of the Penal Code, Cap 87 of the Laws of Zambia.

This is in a case which has to do with a video which went viral where Kambwili was casting Indian nation who was operating a compactor saying those jobs should be left to Zambians.

In the second count Kambwili is charged with Disobedience to Lawful Orders.

This is in connection with what transpired at the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport where he is alleged to have forced himself into a restricted area to receive his wife.
