FAZ appoint new Communication Manager

Former Top Star International Public Relations Manager Mwazipeza Sakala Chanda is the new FAZ spokesperson.

It is the first time ever that a lady has been appointed as FAZ Communications Manager.

Ms Chanda who also worked as a Zambia Daily Mail subs-editor was appointed today to replace Desmond Katongo who resigned last week.

FAZ General Secretary Adrian Adry Kashman Kashala announced the appointment at press briefing at Football House.

Kashala said Ms Sakala brings ten years experience in the media and public relations industry to FAZ.

He thanked Katongo for his selfless service at Football House and wished him well in his future endeavours.

Meanwhile, one time capped Chipolopolo international Lyson Zulu is the new Football Technical Development Manager under the Technical Directorate.

The United Kingdom trained Zulu was a manager at the Youth Development Centre in Lusaka.

Zulu holds degrees in football science management and development from reputable universities in the United Kingdom.

The appointment of the two is a clear demonstration that the Andrew Kamanga-led FAZ has ability to attract top of the range Zambians to contribute to football development.

And FAZ Registrar Gideon Kaumba has been assigned duties in the office of the Club Licencing Manager.
