Could 2019 be the year Dynamos turn elite again

In 2016, following a massive cash injection into the coffers of Lusaka Dynamos, it had looked like the elite days are back at Queensmaid but beyond the big spenders’ tag the hugely likeable club has yet to hold its place among the elite of the Zambian game.

Lusaka Dynamos has attracted some of the big names in the local game but has yet to break into the top four bracket after coming just one step short in the 2017 season.

In 2018 they finished 11th on the log with 51 points with 29 points off winners.

But Coach Daniel Kabwe has given every indication that 2019 will be a year of greater achievement. In the talismanic Chris Mugalu, Fwayo Tembo, Aubrey Funga and Namibian international Tiberius Lombard.

With the team getting on with pre-season business on a serious note, 2019 could be the season that Lusaka Dynamos matches its Elite status.
