Former Nkana and Zambia international midfielder Donashano Malama has joined PSL side Chipa united from Moroccan side Koubriga Athletic.
Malama joined Koubriga in 2017 on a 2 year contract. Talking to pakansele media crew Malama confirmed the move to South Africa.
“Yes I have moved to South Africa to join Chipa united and am already in south with the team. said the former Nkana skipper.”
Malama is a 27-year-old defender, who has previously played for Nkana FC and has featured for the Zambian national team. He was part of Chipolopolo’s squad during the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, coming on as a substitute in a match against Cape Verde.
He played three matches during Zambia’s 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign.
“Also joining the club is Bangaly Keita, who played for Free State Stars.”
Both players have already started training with the Chilli Boys as they prepare for this weekend’s Absa Premiership match against Maritzburg United.
