The structure seen in the picture is not for the mine but for an individual in Chingola’s Old Airport area after the Old Airport flats.
This is a Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) restricted mining area. In the same picture you will be able to see ‘No Authorized Entry.”
What I wonder is why would a sober being spend his money to build a house in such an area?
Are we so desperate that we even stop to think of consequences of such actions?
